Very much like my ps vita too. Easily my favorite hand held system I have messed with and I've only had it since Thursday. Especially seeing that I paid a whopping $4.00 out of pocket for it makes me very much like it that much more. BB is awsome for trade ins. got $100 for my 3ds and another $219 and change for 4 3ds games, 4 360/ps3 games and another 5 or 6 ds games I had. Lovely. 3ds is cool, but soo glad I traded for the vita.
I agree with you in that it is all marketplace ads for the most part. I don't agree with the ads being game related. Right now ther is a Hulu ad, wwe, hyundia, UFC, Zune pass, Verizon fios along with another 10 or so game related ads. Personally, it is beyond overkill. I don't want to see Zumba fitness adverts stream across my screen every 9 seconds. Just feel like the whole interface is a giant billboard. not appealing or elegant in any way. I cant stand the new dashboard. It is not enhancing the customer experience that was bought and paid for via subscription. All it does is add more in your face advertising. If i could atleast customize the screens how i see fit it would be somewhat better. All i use xbox for is games and stream music from my pc or lasr fm. Occasional netflix. The advertising has gotten out of control though. Even closed walled garden apple allows you to customize placement of apps. Live is definately ...
Totally agree...Xbox live is becoming a very fragmented service....If this direction continues I will stop paying for live. I find myself playing online games less and less and going back to more single player experiences anyway. The few games I want to play online I will get for PS3.
Totally Agree. I bought it day one and do not regret it. Would have rather had it for the new price sure but Nintendo did well by giving 20 classics away to make up for it. Ultimately I made the choice to purchase day 1.
If its the headache issue scarring people off...all I can say is the effect is optional. The graphics and screen are leaps ahead of the DS with or without 3D on. If in the market for a handheld 3DS is by far the best option.
How about you focus on GAMES Microsoft. The ESPN partnership on paper sounds great but many people as well as myself can not utilize it because although my slow ass broadband is through Time Warner (an affiliated ISP for the ESPN service) my TV is through Directv. Time Warner does not allow me to view ESPN content through Xbox since I do not pay them for cable along with their expensive slow ass internet. Xbox live and its ongoing services is all fine and dandy but I could give a rats ass ...
for more traditional multi player games just use the wii classic controller. That has the dual sticks n such. Just a guess. being able to have at least two slates would be nice though.
wow. i thought they were clear how the new system would not only implement the new huge controller but also wiimote/wiimoteplus as well as the nunchuck, and wii classic pad. on top of that the balance board and zapper. not all that difficult folks. start taking you ADHD meds more frequently.
totally agree. would love a new MechWarrior Game...Also, kinda off topic, but EA can you at least bring out a xbla/psn road rash game as well. Hell, it can be a port with updtated HD graphics for all I care, but would rather have a new game all together. I'd be fine with it being xbla/psn driven, don't need a $60 big box game. The simple fundamentals of it were what made it so good to begin with...

I didn't think game stops even did warranty programs for 360's anymore. I thought they stopped because they were needing to replace so many consoles. When they start the awarranty program up again to begin with?
I couldn't resist two games for $30. Never played the first two b/c when they released my ps2 had already stopped working b/c of the laser. Had fun playing them so far and both look great with the HD upgrade
been through five 360's, one broken ps3 (bluray drive), no issues with the wii. To be fair its not just video game consoles. My ipods havent lasted more then a year and a half to two years a pop without a battery or hard drive failing.
They should be free...but we all know this will not happen. I'd be willing to pay roughly $10 to $20 for a yearly roster update to use in single player games any new stadiums etc... I generally only buy a sports game, such as madden and hockey every other year. At least EA would get an extra $10 dollars a year by adding a downloadable update.

I was able to pick this game up Wednesday afternoon. 11/4/09. Picked it up from a mom n pop videogame store. The way they have their receipts, it just states "game sale", it does nt state the title name. I get most of the games I want about a week before the actual release. Its been very fun so far. I played the SP on wednesday eve and messed with Multiplayer a bit yesterday. Not sure how far into the sinle player I am but ranked up 10 levels yesterday playing online.
I knew Microsoft would be a Fail. Had High Hopes for Sony. Double Fail. PS3 stuff was OK but overall Meh....Vita their new platform was barely even mentioned.
HUGE FAIL....ALL PSN(excluding ps3 disc games), PS1 and PS2 games should be available for vita. It has more then enough power.
No Wonder Kaz Only waived and did not speak...Microsoft dropped the ball as expected and Sony just kicked it off its foot to Nintendo.
